Wow. I never would have thought you could put chamois leather through a printer! I'm tempted to try now... how thick was the leather you used?

This is so amazing, once again!!! I love self-made book/journals. In my country I have never meet any one who is interested in this kind of art. I am now making research on foreign web-sites to find tips about book binding, cause I am very interested in this.
It's so sad that nowadays everybody is more interested in artificial stuff and not many more appreciate crafting.

Oh it's beautiful. absolutely gorgeous. Ok so I hate to bother, but I do have two questions as I would love to further my book-making skill and knowledge. How did you accomplish the rounded edges so perfectly? And how did you do the crystal closure? I love the idea with the crystal, that's an awesome touch. All of my books I've made so far haven't had an type of closure so if you're willing, I would love to know what you did. Oh and the printing on the leather is a genius idea. It looks amazing! You definitely know what you're doing with these. truly beautiful. :)

Thankyou :)
I hand-cut all the round corners, using a template. It just takes time and patience :)
As for the closure, just use your imagination. Grab some materials you'd like to use and have a good think about it "how can I achieve a closure using these things?" ... you'll come up with a soloution :)

very nice! how did you get the picture printed on the outside? is it just chamoise leather run through an inkjet? seems logical, but i'm not trying it with my leather...
