Just a photo of my desk currently. Am working out a few things for a large painting (eek).

Love!

What kind of paint do you use/recomend? I see the w&n is that devinci as well? Good stuff... Can you recomend a good synthetic brush for small detail work? I have to work small 8.5x11 so it fits in my cheep scanner:saddrunk:

I only use W&N gouache. I've tried a few others and they - on the whole - are pretty awful.
The DiVinci tube is a watercolour :)

My favourite brushes are the 'Taklon Revoloution' brushes. They are a synthetic sable. A little more expensive, they are really a mid-range brush, but I love them to bits... even more so than my actual sable brushes. They have a bit more snap to them and hold SO MUCH paint.

You're most welcome :)
And thankyou, I do too.
There is nothing like soft candle light and a pile of painty things to set a wonderful scene.

*laughs* Okay, so this is tidy compared to my normal. For one, you can actually SEE the table. :D

If you ever feel like sharing your creative space, do share! I love seeing other artists' workspaces.
